Rainier Respite
Compassionate Community
Creative Activities
Caregiver Support
Rainier Respite is designed to relieve caregivers, affording them free time to run errands, take a nap, enjoy peace and quiet, or take care of business.

Caregivers who take the time to care for themselves are better able to manage the stresses of caring for loved ones.

Care partners can participate in a monthly support group to share ideas and concerns with other care partners, as well as learn more from memory loss professionals.

If you would like to observe or participate in the activities for a day, please contact us to schedule a visit. Due to confidentiality and potential participation limitations, we are unable to accept drop ins.

We are a service of Calvary Presbyterian Church, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. To accomplish our goals we rely on donations. We request a daily $30 donation for a participant to attend, however, we do not turn anyone away because of their inability to pay.

In order that we can provide the best possible care all participants must be able to:

-
Walk on their own (assistive devices such as walkers or canes are welcomed)
-
Eat without assistance
-
Manage his/her own bathroom needs
-
Participate in social activities (with prompting and encouragement)
