COMMUNICATION: Volunteers must respond promptly to email/calls and let Director know promptly if you cannot make a committed time

BE PROMPT: Volunteers must arrive 15 minutes before the day starts to plan and prepare 

FOLLOW BEST PRACTICES: Volunteers employ best practices of interaction including, but not limited to, initiating conversation, communicating slowly at eye level with patience, active listening, and active observation of physical and emotional needs of all.

BE ACTIVE: Support all daily activities. These may include: greeting, interactions, devotion, exercise/movement, "Brain Fitness" exercises, meals/snacks, games, projects, and music.

PROVIDE FEEDBACK: Provide pertinent information to staff of success stories, problems/concerns, and suggestions for improvement or continued learning.

BE : Support all daily activities. Treat all with dignity and respect and not discuss individuals or events at Rainier Respite outside of the team.
